The Members of the Committee declared that the Cabinet of Ministers took measures on the work activation concerning labor legislation supervision through the conduction of wage labour enterprises revisions.
The main violations detected in the course of the revisions were the fact that compensation of partial income lost due to violation of its payment terms is not accrued.
During the meeting of the Committee it was emphasized that the state supervision in the sphere of labour rights are implemented in order not allowed ungrounded dismissals, forced leave without pay under the conditions of the finance-economic crisis.
The Members of the Committee emphasized that fact that the government had executed not at the full range the recommendations of the committee concerning the formation of public expert councils on indexation matters under the Cabinet of Ministers, in certain regional state administrations and executive city councils.
Having scrutinized the issues on the improvement of the compensation mechanism of compensation calculation in case of the payment terms violation, the parliamentarians declared that the normative-legal base on the compensation issues is grounded and does not need any amendments.
As a result of scrutiny, the Committee recommended that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine provide Law "On Indexation of Citizens Pecuniary Profit" obeyance according to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Resolution from 22 May 2008, № 10-рп/2008.
The People´s Deputies deem the Cabinet of Ministers is necessary to strengthen its activity regarding the labour rights obeyance supervision and introduce for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine scrutiny legislative propositions on the improvement of the compensation of partial income lost due to violation of its payment terms.
